We have focussed on freedom rather than anything else and so there are no physical guides provided along with. Europe is huge and there are far too many things to see and feel. Completing Europe in one tour is a very very difficult task. Planning a tour to Europe requires a lot of efforts in terms of planning and preparation. Tour de Guide comes as a rescue to that by giving you the best Itineraries possible for a certain period on a certain route. The itineraries are planned taking into account all the best possible routes available. The itineraries are just for the ease of the user and not at all a compulsion. We are working on a customized feature and we believe that it will enable you to make all the changes you want to without even contacting us. Can we change the Flight timings, Hostels and Inter-City Transfers? All the things which we are doing, we are doing keeping us on the other side i.e. becoming the client while booking and confirming the itinerary. We agree that the needs and usage of each client may vary and so we will be sharing the different partners, timings and transfers available with you after you book with us. Be sure that at some places, there might not be different partners available and so you will have to stick with whatever’s there with us. And believe us, they are as good as you will wish them to be.

Overnight Journey’s are beneficial and are included in your Itinerary. We try not to have more than 2-3 Overnight journey’s in an Itinerary. If your Itinerary has these routes, you will be having an Overnight Journey. Yes, the itinerary text is just an overview of what you might do and what you might not in a particular city. The Final Itinerary will be shared with you before finalizing the booking. We are not doing group departures where you have a coach and everything is pre-booked. Different Flight timings, different Hotels/Hostels Availability, Inter-city transfers availability, all needs to be checked and verified before a Final Itinerary is provided. We will share the same once we know the date you plan to visit your dream place. Be assured that we will be providing all the services at the prices you book at.

After you click on Book, you will get an Add-on Services page to book the add-on services of your wish. There are few pre-selected Add-on Services (something which we think you would need) and if you do not wish those, you can just unselect those. Apart from the cost mentioned, following are the costs which you will be incurring: For Schengen, you will be incurring a Visa cost of Rs.6200. A Compulsory Travel Insurance is needed and it will cost around Rs.1000. You can also reduce the food cost by taking the Dehydrated Meals with you. We recommend you buying a Sim card beforehand and the same will cost around Rs.850-1700 (depending on your use). Few Important Travel Essentials worth around Rs.1000. Free Walking Tours per city will cost you around Rs.300. You can book free tours here. Sightseeing is very subjective but one can take an average of around Rs.1000-1500 per city. Public transport cost per day average can be around Rs.200 (You will hardly incur these as the Hostels/Hotels are in the city center only). Food expenses are again subjective and can be taken around Rs.800-1500 per day. We are working on providing food discount coupons to help you reduce that cost. Apart from this, you will be incurring on Shopping which is up to you to decide. Overall, for a 15-day Tour in 5 cities, you will be incurring a cost of around Rs. 30,000 apart from the price mentioned.

You will have to book the services at least 45 days before your set out on your journey. 45 days because of a very simple reason, the Visa process and everything starts around a month before and so, there will be many unnecessary cancellations. Solo/Friends is specifically meant for young people who want and are ready to travel with Freedom. See things on their terms, feel cities as per their wish, live the way they would have thought to live. You will be living in Hostels and at very few places, Hotels. One needs to understand Hostels are costlier than Hotels but we would still pursue you to stay in Hostels because that is what you are going to remember all along. We have chosen the best of Hostels for you. Couples have both the options of Solo/Friends as well as the Couple option. If the couple is going for adventure and fun, they can choose the Solo/Friends option itself but if they are going on Honeymoon or a leisure tour, they can choose from the Couple option. The couple option is a bit more sophisticated in terms of Hotels, Transfers and everything. We will be avoiding Night transfers at as many places as possible. Family will have the most sophistication of all. A proper 2Adults + 1-2 Children room. If the family is 2+2 Adults, two rooms will be provided or a Two-Bedroom Family suite will be looked into. Night transfers will be very very less. Add-on Services will play a major part for the Families and they will be explained properly by our Operations team. Couple and Family have 3 types of Options to choose the Tour from: Standard Premium Luxury Standard will involve a small amount of trouble here and there. For ex: Night transfers by Bus once or twice at max, 2-3 star Hotels (Believe us, they will be way way better than what you would have just thought of. To provide you a measure, 4 star hotels in India are equivalent of 2/3 star hotels there). Premium will involve 4 star hotels, almost none Night transfers, Train and Flight transfers. Luxury will involve 5 star hotels, 1st Class Train Transfers or Flight transfers, Intra-city transfers and even Guide services for the places they will be visiting. BACHELORS itineraries are friends going on the final last tour before one of them becomes a Couple. A highly exclusive service is provided in this case and so we have kept things open. Indeed. The Itineraries have been made for your ease. If you are a Couple or a Family and you liked one of the Itinerary provided in Solo/Friends, you can surely let us know about the same. We will provide you the same itinerary as a Couple or a Family.

The Payment procedure associated is very simple. If you can't make the whole payment at once, No Worries! You can make the payment in 3 installments to us. 50% of the Itinerary amount will have to be paid Upfront. 25% of the Rest amount will have to be paid before the 30th day of Journey. The Final 25% will have to be paid before the 15th day of your Journey. For a seamless transaction, it would be amazing if you could pay the whole amount once and for all. There are three options to make the Payment: Pay Online (You can use credit card EMI services also): If you intend to pay the whole amount online, extra charges of 2.36% will be applicable. You can also avail the EMI services offered by many Credit card companies. The Payment will process if your card is eligible for EMI payments. Pay Later: We encourage travelling and we also understand that money is not readily available at all times, keeping that in mind we provide you with the option to book now and pay later. We would like to help you in every way we can, and for that, we will contact you and guide you through the entire process after you book via 'Pay Later' option. The only condition associated with 'Pay Later' option is that you have to make payment within 3 days after your booking via 'Pay Later' option. Apply for a Personal Loan: We have tied up with a Partner to help our clients avail the Personal Loan service as quick as possible. You will have register yourself there and fill in the requisite documents. If asked for any Payment, click on Pay Offline. Tour de Guide clients don’t have to make any registration form Payment. We do not encourage any Cash Deposit in our Bank account. Extra charges of 1% will be applicable on cash deposits and a penalty of 100% will have to be borne by the client in case of a deposit of more than Rs.2 Lakhs. We can share a payment link, or you can ask us for our bank transfer details directly.

We understand that things don’t work out as expected and so Yes, you can cancel the services but then there will be charges associated with the same. If you cancel before 30 days, you will be refunded 50% of the Booking amount. If you cancel between 29-15 days, you will be refunded 40% of the amount and if you cancel between 15-10 days, you will be refunded 25% of the amount and anything before 10 days is not refundable. The same cancellation policy applies in case of Visa also. We will request you to provide the Visa documents as early as possible. Applying for the Visa a month before the date of travel is appropriate for all the parties involved.
